Fragility of the Mind

"Like Ariel said, my stuff doesn't work on everyone." She shrugged and looked at Ariel with a twinge of consern. She shouted out to her to go drink some water and lie down. She then turned listened to what TK said and the corners of Raine's lips curled in a catish smile.

"Of course I will assist you in this reuniting of two loves. The did call me something of a Goddess of Love back home." She flipped her hair and chuckled, remembering days lost by passion and the feeling of just living.

She nodded, acknowledging the danger she would be in. She felt for those two people though. She knew what it felt like to be seperated from the one you love.

She smiled then at TK's last comment. She put her arm around her shoulders and walked them to Ariel's door, full out grinning now.

"I always am the one to make her tick it seems, but are we really going back to this silly banter of ours, Old Lady?" She pulled out the silly nickname she had given TK near the beginning of their adventure and laughed.

Ryan rolls over in his bed

Raine giggled, following suit and swaying to the left this time. She hadn't had much fun in the last few years, good innocent fun to be precise, and she wanted it to last while it did. Good things didn't seem to last quite that long for Raine.

Raine thought for a moment, not really thinking at all. Just enjoying the moment.

"I say we be terribly naughty and bust open the door like in some old cop movie." She then stood in a wide stance, bent her legs and put her hands together as if holding a gun. She slid right up to the door and shouted at it, hoping Ariel would head every single word.

"Hands up, Chuckles! We're comin' in!" She was poised to kick in the door, looking at TK waiting for her to folllow suit before she hit the door with her foot.

Ariel groaned, hearing noise outside her door. She rolled over onto her side and reached for her shirt, attempting to put it on while lying down. After some struggling and wriggling she managed to and lay there, rubbing her temples and sighing.

She then whispered to TK, "three, two, one..." before they both were able to kick in the door. When the door was successfully broken Raine stepped inside, still waving around her imaginary gun. When she saw Ariel, she raced up to her, slammed her finger gun to the woman's forehead and shouted, "You're under arrest for ditching at a crutial moment in time and overall being awesome, though I don't know how that gets you arrested," She added the last bit with a smirk. She got serious then and sat down on the bed.

"What's up though, anything the matter? Council is here," she spread her arms.

Ariel looked at her friends and smiled tiredly. She sat up and drew them both into a hug, squeezing them tightly but not so it was uncomfortable.

"You guys are the best," she said quietly.

Ryan sighs, laying alone in his cold room, staring at the ceiling

Raine smirked, hugging back. "Like we don't know that already," She teased.

Ryan takes a deep breath

Emir paced in his room, tired of all of them bitching about each other a few moments ago. He was tired of people trying to take over them and generally being tired of living this way: Sarcastic and Lonely.

He sighed, sat on his bed and came into a deep coma. His thought process was so important to him, that a coma would do the trick.

Ryan sits up and hits hit fist onto his left palm, is an arbirtrary way
"Alright. I'll do it."
He stands up and takes a deep breath

"...I just hope they come to accept it..."
He opens the door and walks out, scanning the hallway for people

Gabrielle tapped on the door frame of Ariel's room and perked her head in. "Wow, you girls made a mess." She kind of stood there for a few seconds, unsure what more to say. "I don't know exactly what's up, so if I'm being overly sentimental or whatever feel free to come over and give me the face slap."

She took in some air after having said that in one breath. "So? Who's the useless bitch? the chick who didn't know anything or the chick who did and didn't do anything? I say the former, the latter seems more like a jerkass."

Startled, Ariel pulled away from her two friends and looked at Gabrielle. She blushed slightly, not expecting the woman to be by her room. She glanced down at her worn shirt and frowned inwardly. Then she looked back at Gabrielle.

"You're not a useless bitch Gabrielle," she said sincerely. "We were talking about Raine over here." She poked the girl playfully. "But we explained why she was, technically, useless so it's alright now." She was about to add that she could come in and talk to them if she wanted, but she didn't know if she should have.

Ryan rubs his hands together, a little nervous, walking down the hallway towards Ariel's room

He stops in the doorway after taking a deep breath
...he leans against the doorframe

"...hey uh...Raine..."
He begins, rubbing his arm

"...I uh..."
He seems to be having a hard time getting it out

".......appologize for throwing you into space earlier....and to the rest of you for my being an uptight jerk....I've just had alot on my mind...and I'm at a pretty high stress level...I hope we can be friends....I promise to try and redress my ways."
He bows to the girls

Ryan smiles
"Indeed, a sleepover would be fun...too bad I'm not a girl"
He shrugs, still smiling

TK walked towards the wall, still not saying a word to Ryan.

"What now?" She thought in annoyance.
