Fragility of the Mind

Ryan's heart sinks a little and he looks down

"Guys...I have something important I have to tell all of you...but I'd like to do it in the main room, so everyone here knows..."

Ariel opened her mouth, ready to press her for an answer. Though she closed her mouth, thinking better of it. She didn't want to cause TK any unnecessary pain.

"Heh, alright best friend," she said with a smile. Then she turned to Ryan, curious. "Alright."

Emir raised his eyebrows, and replied "Sure" and stands up.

Yia looks at Ryan and nods. He slowly gets up and looks around at the others. He knew he wasn't really going to get noticed... He was too quiet, too shy. But that wasn't going to change, not anytime soon anyways.

Ryan walks to TK and says
"Please come, TK...it's important that you do..."

Gabrielle's shoulders slumped. This sudden mood whiplash gravely sickened her to the stomach. "What?" she said quietly, not believing TK just said she couldn't get over Alevon, who she personally despised, even though he was now dead.

She hopped off the bed and walked towards the door, towards the main room.

Yia silently glared at Ryan from behind. He hated the fact that he was really annoying TK. He should just leave her alone. Yia stopped glaring and stared at Gabrielle.

Emir quirked his brow to Gabrielle.

"what do you mean 'what' Gab? You seem disappointed for some reason."

Just in time to hear Emir questioning her, Gabrielle put her hand on the doorframe and turned her body around. "I'm just a little surprised." She turned around again and went to the main room.

Yia watched Gabrielle leave and then left the room himself, his head bent down and his hands in his pockets.

"Your vagueness urges me to pop a cop on you." Emir said to Gabrielle, walking out of Ariel's room.

Ryan slowly walks through the hallway, looking at the ground and ceiling interchangably

...what if they don't...

Ariel stood up off her bed and walked over to TK. She put a reassuring hand on her best friend's shoulder.

"It's alright, TK. Next time huh?" she said with a wink. Then she turned serious as she walked out of her room, following everyone else.

Ryan walks into the main room, in the middle, back to everyone.

He grabs his wrist-pad and rips it off, crushing it and throwing it to the side.

"Everyone...friends...people of the base...I have something I need to tell you all. Please...before you take any actions...hear what I have to say first...."

He inhales deeply and exhales

His armor suddenly sports dozens of hair-line cracks shining with a bright red light, growing brighter and brighter. Suddenly, the armor explodes outwards (not to hurt anyone or anything, it pops off).

As the light dims from the explosion, everyone would see the back of someone familiar, he spins around, with his long black hair waving weightlessly with his motion...he stops and faces everyone, opening his deep red eyes.

It was Alevon.

Emir pulled out his revolver and aimed at Alevon.

"You son of a bitch, you'll still alive and you never told us?!"

Ariel looked at Ryan, who was apparently Alevon this entire time, and froze. She simply stared at him. It was indeed Alevon, standing before her in the flesh. Her hands balled into fists and shook and her eyes narrowed, burning. She snarled and before she could stop herself, she strode up to him and punched him square in the face, attempting to knock him right over.

His hair finally floats into place and he inhales again, closing his eyes
"...hello..."

He keeps his eyes closed
"...I will explain everything, I assure you..."

He lets her punch him but tries to keep his stance

Gabrielle felt a ball in her throat form as she put her hand to her mouth and took a step back, shocked. She glanced towards TK and instantly felt bad for overreacting so sorely. Still, no wonder she was constantly reminded of him.

"How? What?" she asked. "But... you died!"
