Fragility of the Mind

Raine had a smug smile on her face, she just watched the scene unfold, forgetting some of her pain watching Alevon writhe in whatever personal Hell he had stumbled upon.

Alevon looks to the side, a small amount of blood still dripping from his eyes - or was he crying?

He enjoyed the sensation of being touched by TK, though he knew better of it, having gone through what he just did with her

"...I...think I'm fine now, thank you...TK..."
He says, just before grabbing his head from another burst of pain, causing another nose bleed

Alevon stumbles over to TK and suddenly holds her tightly

"We'll get through this, Tsinanae-"
He coughs before squeezing her tighter

"...I promise"
He lets her go, not wanting to suffocate her, and considering his clothes are stained with blood

He forces a smile as he sways back and forth, trying to keep balance

Alevon lowers his head and places his hand gently on hers, both to help keep balance, and because he wanted to hold her hand
"...thank you Tsinanae...I really appreciate it...but...I don't deserve it..."
He looks away, a drop of blood trickles from the corner of his mouth

"...Tsinanae..."
He says quietly, closing his eyes as he wabbles forward and leans his forehead on her shoulder, seeming to lose his balance as he grips her hand tighter

"...I appologize, for everything...though it may not mean much, I just want you to know that there isn't a moment that goes by that I don't feel terrible about the pain I've caused you...I just wanted to let you know, just in case...well...you know......."
He takes a shaky breath

"...and I am eternally grateful, that dispite what I have done to you, unintentionally or not...that you have always been by my side when I needed you most...you're a wo-"
He coughs up a little more blood, aiming away from her shoulder

"-nderful person, Tsinanae, you really are...I appreciate it.....both your actions and you, mean the world to me...."
He closes his eyes

Yia looked at Alloy then grabbed his arm and teleported them to Alloy's room. "Okay, this morning I woke up with a huge ass headache, now I have TK's ability! I never saw her do it either! She just touched me and then BAM I have her ability." Yia says in one breathe and frowns.

Alevon grips his chest tightly and arches his back
"AAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
He yells, his body making twitchy motions

Alevon fell over, and after a moment, sits up shakily from the odd sensation, crawling over to Grace, giving her a big hug
"T-t-thank you, Grace! ...I-I feel much better now!" He shuts his eyes tightly

Alevon is clearly no different than he was before, but he wears a big smile while holding Grace

Alevon pats the back of her head
"Shhhhhhhhhh.....Grace, you tried your best, I know you did, and that's all that matters"

He leans back, looking at her
"...it makes me feel good, in here-"
He taps his heart
"- knowing that you tried to help me"

He smiles at her, brushing some of her hair back

Alevon scoots back, sitting on his knees, letting the two have their room...thinking about who he has to share such a moment with...he lowers his head, knowing that there is no one...even back at the base, the only person he could enjoy being with was Alyssa...funny, she hated his guts at first, but grew to like him more than anyone else did...funny how those things work out...

...and now he doesn't even have her...what if she was grieving over his death too? ...probably not...the others wouldn't have approved of it......yet another poor soul he has affected...even though his efforts were for the greater good, he has hurt so many...or if not many, the only people he holds....held......close and dear to him...

TK, the only woman he ever has and ever will love...
Alyssa, the closest thing to a best friend he ever had...

...the bonds never to be healed fully, all due to his plan...his plan to make the world a brighter place...has made his world...ever darker...

...he should have told TK of his plans...even if it would have endangered all of their lives...her hurting over it...is simply too much, even if it was for the sake of everyone...

Alevon looks at TK

...Tsinanae...if I could, I'd undo all of this...all those years...just to be with you, genuinely, with a clean slate...but now it's too late...and I may die from it....all because of....what? ...because of my selfish means of doing good? ...am I good?...I....I don't know anymore, TK...even though my efforts are with the best of intentions...with how much trouble I cause, I think....I think that I'm just born to be a villain....but I don't want to be...I don't want to hurt people that don't deserve it...not you, not anyone...

A bloody tear rolls down his cheek as he cries silently

...I wanted nothing more than to make the world a brighter place, for everyone to live peacefully...but look at the mess I've made...I can't even change it...I can't undo it...I can't fix it...it's just broken...along with your poor heart and my...evil, terrible one.....I wish I didn't exist...I wish you could have had the life you deserved...I wish I never befowled it with my double-edged intentions...I don't care if I meant well...I hurt you...and I can never forgive myself...and I can't even bring myself to tell you that! ...I hate myself...so much...

He leans forward, holding his face as the bloody tears trickle out through the cracks between his fingers


(TK would barely hear this in her head, as if it was a whisper. Alevon is not trying to let anyone hear this, but due to his power issues, it's getting out whether he wants it to or not, and TK just happens to be what he's looking at)
