Fragility of the Mind

Raine ignored TK and she opened a portal a few feet in front of herself. She took a deep breath, tried to halt the shaking in her arms and she full out sprinted into and through the portal, jumping right as she stepped through it. Everyone would now see her popping out directly behind the man, falling onto his back and latching on as tightly as she could. She wrapped her arms around his neck in a blood choke and hoped that she was able to nullify his powers. If she didn't, a lot of people were going to feel dizzy in a few seconds.

"You useless assholes better hurry up!" She shouted, keeping her grip on the man strong. Raine didn't look like it but she was very strong. She knew self defence and she had done yoga for a few years, strengthening her body to a good physical condition. She didn't know how long she could hold though, considering she was going through withdrawl. She always felt weaker in that state.

Alevon yawns and wanders about the now-spotless house
"...I am so booorrred..."
He then raises his right arm and sighs, snapping his fingers and expecting a bottle of soda to drop into his hand

Nothing happens

"Uh oh"
He then begins to have another seizure on the floor, blood spilling from his mouth, nose, ears, and eyes

Raine fell to the ground with a thump and looked at the creepy pieces of the now decimated man. She held back a yelp and and got up and slammed her foot on the man's head, hoping it would at least do something. She doubted it would but it was worth a try. She kept jabbing at his head with her foot.

Yia got tired of this he quickly ran close to the guy to where he could get a good aim but not get killed. He aimed the gun with shaky hands at the mans head. D-Do I really want to kill him...? Yia thought his eyes starting to look scared.

Frustrated, Gabrielle started to recall a particular scene... the damage unaffecting the man very similar to her fight with the girl in the woman's facility. She began to worry if their gestures weren't futile not because of the man's abilities but because his gene code was safely stored away a few thousand miles away... in a container, in some kind of hidden laboratory, where it was colder, colder...

she shuddered at the thought, and put her hands together. Rubbing them for heat, she walked closer again and suddenly had the crazy idea of... "Hey, Yia," she called out slowly. "...Could you by any chance be able to borrow this man's ability?"

"B-but if I get too close he can kill me... Can't he?" Yia says he was starting to shake a little bit.

"Good... now I don't know how this works..." Gabrielle trailed off and gazed at the crowd sadly. "Just try as best as you can, here's what I want you to do. I want you to try and... exert control over this crowd. Take it away from the man. I have no idea how you're supposed to do it." While basically admitting her lack of a concrete plan, Gabrielle was proud to tell herself she was finally being helpful in one way or another.

Yia yelled out in both surprise and fear as he was thrown. He closed his eyes and shook even more. He really hoped Gabrielle would catch him.

(Lol, just pretend you heard her.)

Gabrielle lunged foward and caught Yia right in time. His lightness surprised her, even though she herself sweighed no more than a hundred and ten pounds.

"So, can you do it?"

He continued to shake. "H-H-H-He h-has t-t-to be w-w-willing to le-le-lend me his p-p-power." Yia says stuttering worse then ever. His eyes were shut tightly.
