A newbie level plotter quits when his first ploy fails or dies.

An intermediate level plotter would think that when people say knowledge is power they leave out a critical aspect of the cliché. You need sufficient leverage to be able to use knowledge to acquire power.

An advanced level plotter would understand that acquiring said leverage leaves you vulnerable for the inevitable backlash that would follow and properly deploy several cat-paws to do the risky heavy lifting.

A masterful plotter understands that power is a means to an end. That end, whatever it is, must include the ruin or death of all you have upset, dethroned or otherwise thwarted.

A truly brilliant plotter understands all of the above and would attempt to derail or co-opt existing power structures, plots and conspiracies to his eventual benefit and come out of the ordeal with more allies that they went in with.

goood, the biggest problem i have with the concept of heroes in wormverse can be summed up in one line from Seed:
"A hero works with the PRT and has training" ~Miss Militia
...uhh, what? you are trying to say that i can't be a hero if i don't work with the PRT? says fucking Who? Who says you can't go out and try to help people without first jumping through the fucking ocean of bureaucratic red tape that is the PRT?

Taylor: You pulled a Brute move, which is very obviously out of your weight class, and it failed spectacularly, which is why you are now being pressganged into the Wards. I want to know why you tried such a bone-headed tactic in the first place
