Fragility of the Mind

"Nah, just a waste of a life," She smiled, tipping her head to the side and gathering all her hair over one shoulder.

"No life could be wasted, just ruined that's all." Emir said, putting his beer on the night stand. "I've been tortured for a long time, mentally and physically and yet I have a very positive thought on life, Ironic isn't it?"

"Not really," Raine's smile grew wider as she continued to stare at nothing.

"There are tons of people like that, I like to think that that's normal."

"It isn't, it's denial." Emir scoffed, relaxing in his bed. "Only a fool like me thinks Life's great after a eye implanted into his forehead, killed tons of people and almost got molest by his mother."

"I feel the same way...TK...I'm...beginning to not be able to tell what is real, and what is a dream...I....don't even know if I'm real...."
He looks down

"...but I can guarentee you that I am Alevon Drey, the one, the only."

Gabrielle walked by Emir's room, and couldn't help but overhear the last bit of phrase Emir said. She promptly put her hand on the door, realizing it wasn't completely closed, and perked her head through the crevice. "Hi," she said. "Do any of you mind if I come in for a beer, too?"

(its about time!!!)

Raine stopped smiling, her cheeks were starting to hurt even though she smiled frequently. She looked over at Emir and said, "Denial can be a cruel thing. You just have to have people around you who will shove reality down your throat. It hurts like a bitch, obviously, but it's worth it."

SHe started to walk around the room then, opening drawers and over all being a nosy person. She was bored and she didn't care if she got scolded for poking around. It gave Raine something to do.

"...I know you're real...TK...I mean this, this is the cause of my feelings..."
Alevon closes his eyes, and raises his hands in the air...suddenly, TK would see roses falling from the air right above Alevon, maybe half a dozen...they fall onto him, some hitting him and rolling off, others going straight through him...all dissappearing when they hit the ground...she can smell them all vividly...

Then, several people appear, and all of them constantly changing who they are, random people, and they all turn into Alevon and dissappear

...it grows dark, and TK would feel her body pelted with droplets of rain, but without seeing any...

...it all stops, and Alevon's arms hang loosely at his sides
"...I have so much power....that I'm losing a connection to reality...."
He hangs his head limply

"Ah, Hello Gab....sorry no more beer but you can try my brew I've been saving when we kill those Mastermind guys." Emir smiled, getting a large ceramic pot and putting it on his bed.

"Care for a taste?" He asked Gabrielle, taking out the clothed cap and getting a mug from under his bed too.

Raine smiled at Gabrielle for a second, waving her hand in the air as a greeting.

"Oh, and you might wanna take a look at a picture Emir drew with you in it. I swear to God he's the next Leonardo da Vinci."

"...it's fine..."
He says

"...I guess it's what I deserve, after all....in my selfish endeavors, I got exactly what I wanted...."
He sighs, then smiles suddenly

"...but it has so much potential...and especially since I'm on our side again..."
He hugs her

"Oh?"
He says, still holding her

"I'm probably am." Emir smiled, pouring 3 mugs of his brew. "I generally make some schematic of guns, but when I get bored I just make Lesbian scenes with two people that I know sooo much." He chuckled, putting two of the mugs onto the night table and knocking off the bottles to the ground.

Alevon knocks on Emir's doorframe
"...may I join you all?"

What?

It couldn't be...

No, it's impossible.

... Is it impossible?

Raine stood rigid, she had definately heard that voice. She bolted out of Emir's room without another word, except for a quivering bubble of laughter that escaped her constricted throat. She knocked into Alevon on her way out but she didn't even look back as she begin to search the house, desperate for a glance of the owner of that voice.

Alevon dodges Raine

"It's up to you, TK"
He says, his head draped over hers

"I don't mind...Misery loves company." Emir said, putting his pot of brew back under his bed.

"Alright"
He says, entering Emir's room

"...say uh...I don't suppose I could have some of that?"
He inquires about the booze
