Fragility of the Mind

Emir began to aimed at "Kate", and began shooting all of his rounds at its head.

Yia nodded as everyone attacked the impostor. There was nothing he could do.

Yia dodged a hit from the lightning and called out to TK. "TK! GIVE ME TELEPORT!" Yia says holding his arm out to her.

Ariel gasped and looked for some type of cover in the area. There was no time however, so she decided to stand and fight. She looked up at "Kate" and concentrated on her left wing, hoping it would catch fire.

Emir dodged it also, and scoffed.

"We ain't children, you wench!" He shouted, loading up his revolver and began to shoot at its wings.

Yia felt the power shift to him and he teleported as well.

'Dammit... I don't know what to do!'

Ariel looked around frantically, trying to come up with something. She looked up at the sword then, and decided to try and destroy it. If that worked then at least it would be one less thing to worry about.

Raine dodged a lightning bolt, tripping and falling in the process. She quickly thought up a crazy plan and put it to action as soon as she hit the ground. A portal opened up beneath her and she fell through the ground out of a portal right above the fake Kate. She grabbed onto her tightly, hoping she could nullify her power like she did to the man recently.

"God damn, playing the damn pet monkey again."

Sorry Lance, false alarm.

Gabrielle was almost about to start ranting about how it was really Kate, just mislead and very confused, when suddenly lightning went for her. In a split second she somehow managed to get out of the way with a quick teleportation--courtesy of TK--and free the air around her of ions with a little shockwave---courtesy of Alevon.

Gabrielle, cheap as she was, really started to wonder if Lance was already on the road to Alaska, and sent her copy irresponsibly leap around taking in bolts of energy. Damn, she had no 'plan' now, and began wondering what flashy attack she could use to trick this Kate.

Her calmness surprised even her. She discovered that she didn't give two fucks about the drama as long as this Kate was a stranger.

"You know what they say, stanger," she started to say. "Lightning thinks it's the fastest, but darkness is always there waitin' for it. Mange de la merde!" She sent her really special trump card she had discovered only recently into the air. Once seeming like a big blob of shadow, it eventually elongiated to become a celestial dragon, which went straight for the blue-eyed woman in the air.

Seeing Raine behind her only brightened her spirits. "Work your magic, Raine!"

"Oh, oh..." Gabrielle, now surprised, had her dragon curl into a ball and dive towards the ground, even faster than the falling unfortunates. When it hit the ground, it formed a cushion of sorts. Just to be super safe, Gabrielle also summoned a spikeless bear which went smack under them.

Raine growled, pulling her left fist back, punching the man in the face. She then grinned, opening a portal beneath her falling frame.

"See you in hell, dickbag." She stuck her tongue out at him, gave him the finger and disappeared through the portal and came out on the ground, safe. She cracked her neck and grinned in satisfaction.

"Raine!" Ariel cried as she ran over to her friend. "Are you alright?"

Yia watched him transform. "He can turn into the people he touches."
